Description

Service has a selection from which the end user can select soft skills.

User requirements

  • User has 3 choices available for the survey. (1) most important, (1) important, (1) valuable.
  • User can add each skill to only 1 category.
  • User must use a hash for authentication.

Technical requirements

  • User must be able to cancel his/her choices during the survey.
  • Skills must have descriptions available.
Use Case # 2 User Access and Interaction with the service The end user gains access to the service and interacts with it by selecting the skills.
Use Case # 3 Skill Survey and Response Storage The end user uses the skill selection view to respond to the survey.

Preliminary user stories

  • #34 US006 - As an end user, I want to be able to use the touchpad and arrow keys to navigate the website because that aligns with my typical laptop usage and browsing behavior.
  • #35 US007 - As an end user, I want the vertical navigation bar to be on the left side as it is more intuitive.
  • #36 US008 - As an end user, I want the soft and hard skills to be separated into different pages so that the survey feels less overwhelming.
  • #37 US009 - As an end user, I want to receive a notification when I have selected the maximum number of skills in a category.

Acceptance Criteria

Acceptance Criteria Notes
User can add each skill to only 1 category.
User can select ONLY 1 most important, 1 important and 1 valuable Soft Skill.
User can select ONLY 3 Soft Skills.
The user can remove the selection.
After the user has selected all 3 Soft Skills, they cannot select any more.
After user has selected maximum number of Soft Skills from category, they can see a message / notification that "Soft Skill selected successfully".
Soft Skill selections can be made only using the keyboard.
