Description

The Power Automate user management feature involves automatically updating the Skill Collector database. When the process owner adds a new user to the Excel sheet, their hash should be added to the database.

User requirements

  • New hashes should be added to the Skill Collector database when a new user is added to the Excel sheet.

Technical requirements

  • Power Automate should be connected to the Skill Collector database.
  • Power Automate should be used to update the database with a new hash.
Use Case # 1 Creation of Hashes, Automated Email Generation and Delivery Power Automate is used to update the database with new hash data.

Preliminary user stories

  • #69 US029 - As a process owner, I want new hashes to be automatically added to the database so that I don't have to do it manually.

Acceptance Criteria

Power Automate sends the hash to the database in the correct format.
If error occurs when updating database, appropriate message is given to user.
Update process performs efficiently and can handle a reasonable volume of data without significant performance degradation.
Comprehensive documentation is available to guide the user.
The hash remains unchanged throughout the process of sending it from the Excel sheet to the database.
