29.05 Monday

On Monday, our team was bustling with activity. We had meetings focused on the upcoming Open Doors Day and the development of the Open Doors website. It was a collaborative effort as we discussed plans and strategies to ensure a successful event.

In addition to the Open Doors preparations, there was a significant amount of work dedicated to the OPF pages for our partner teams, Iotitude and Mysticons. Our team members engaged in coding and uplifting these pages, striving to create a nice design that aligns with their respective visions.

We also made progress on enhancing the WIMMA Lab page itself. Our goal is to provide visitors with an appealing and informative online experience that captures the essence of WIMMA Lab.

It was an exciting Monday filled with productive discussions and collaborative efforts. As a team, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality work and making valuable contributions to the success of Open Doors Day and the overall WIMMA Lab.

30.05 Tuesday

We did social media post planning for Open Doors; we also made preliminary plans for thank you posts to visitors and partner organizations. Image editing and translation work were also done throughout the day on the website. Each team and individual created name cards and a brief resume, which were printed for Open Doors. In the evening, we visited Gofore's office in Jyväskylä. Gofore had organized various lectures for us, including testing and accessibility. After the lectures, team members stayed to network and explore the office premises. Gofore-Juuso Gofore-Ruut-Minttu-Matti

31.05 Wednesday

We conducted marketing for Open Doors on social media throughout the day leading up to the event. Later in the day, Annimari Lehtomäki from BioPaavo, visited and talked about the Hackathon activities in Saarijärvi. We also tested the functionality of the Open Doors website and made some minor changes to it.

01.06 Thursday

The team held a sprint planning session and conducted open-door design work. We worked on documenting new tasks and planning. Throughout the day, we also practiced elevator speeches with the Open Door event in mind. The exercise would help us introduce ourselves, our team, and our job responsibilities more effectively at the event.

02.06 Friday

Marketing and media: I assisted with website-related tasks and translations for the website. I also worked on documenting and planning social media marketing for the Open Door event.
